“Congratulations to all of our recent college accepted students!! Khan’s Tutorial’s High School Achievement Program (HSAP) seeks to prepare and mentor students for their high school exams and their college application processes. In 2017 alone, we helped students receive 464 offers from colleges and universities across the nation, including offers from NYU, Macaulay Honors, Columbia and Harvard. In order to succeed academically, our top-performing students understand that they need to begin preparing for college as early as their freshman year in high school. Maintaining a 95+ GPA while participating in various extracurricular activities and internships throughout all four years of high school is what creates a competitive candidate for colleges. Additionally, a consistent study schedule and parental support help our students attain high test scores and foster a passion for learning,” said Tasneem Imam Khan, Director of the HSAP program.

“We are extremely proud of the dedication showed by every student and their parents for their SAT, Regents, and college acceptance success. At Khan’s we recognize that the Common Application will be undergoing a change this year. And our entire team of 400 Instructors, Managers, and Directors, look forward to getting countless more students accepted this Fall. I would also like to recognize our SAT Instructor Jaspreet whose student Mary Vavruska scored a 1560 on her SATs,” said Dr. Ivan Khan, CEO & President of Khan’s Tutorial.

With 10 locations in the outer boroughs of New York City, Brooklyn, the Bronx, and in the Jackson Heights, Jamaica, Astoria, Ozone Park, and Floral Park neighborhoods of Queens, Khan’s Tutorial primarily serves in assisting families in low-income, new immigrant neighborhoods. Over 2,608 students have gained admission to New York City’s Specialized High Schools through Khan’s Tutorial since its inception in 1994.Report Press Release.
