Bangladesh Society’s Board of Trustees reconstituted

New York: The monthly meeting of the Executive Committee of the Bangladesh Society was held on Sunday evening, April 20, at the Bangladesh Society’s own office. The meeting was presided over by Bangladesh Society President Ataur Rahman Selim. Present at the meeting, led by General Secretary Mohammad Ali, were Senior Vice President – Mohiuddin Dewan, Vice President – Kamruzzaman Kamrul, Deputy General Secretary – Abul Kalam Bhuiyan, Treasurer – Mofizul Islam Bhuiyan (Rumi), Organizing Secretary – Duke Khan, Cultural Secretary – Anik Raj, Public Relations and Promotion Secretary – Riju Mohammad, Social Welfare Secretary – Jamil Ansari, Literary Secretary – Mohammad Akhtar Babul, Sports and Entertainment Secretary – Ashrab Ali Khan Liton, School and Education Secretary – Mohammad Hasan (Jilani), Executive Members – Harun and Rashid (Chairman), Jahangir Shahid Suhrawardy, Mohammad Siddique Patwary, Abul Kashem Chowdhury, Munsur Ahmed and Hasan Khan.
A new 12-member Board of Trustees was elected at the meeting. The newly elected Board of Trustees members are Akhter Hossain, Kazi Azharul Haque Milon, Azimur Rahman Borhan, Md. Atowarul Alam, Abdur Rahim Howlader, Shah Newaz, Dr. Enamul Haque, Junaid Chowdhury, Kazi Sakhawat Hossain Azam, Fakhrul Islam Delwar, Ahsan Habib and Naeem Tutul. Press Rilece. -Press Release.
